• AI can sometimes make mistakes or misinterpret handwriting; we encourage families to review names and dates together.
• You always have full control to edit, refine, or adjust any generated manuscript prior to printing or saving.
• Theirloom is a creative legacy creation service, not a legal or genealogical title registry.

2. Your Ownership & Copyright

You warrant that you own or have permission to share the personal letters, photos, and family records you upload to Theirloom.

• Your Content: You own all rights to your raw uploads and generated final books.
• Print Rights: You hold full permission to print, copy, and share your family archives with loved ones.

3. Platform Intellectual Property & Trade Secrets

All proprietary software, multi-agent orchestration pipelines, narrative synthesis frameworks, literary prompt architectures, anti-slop heuristic rule engines, physical print pre-flight geometry (including caliper spine thickness calculations), typography engines, trade dress, and brand assets powering Theirloom are the exclusive intellectual property and trade secrets of Theirloom Inc.

Except for the non-exclusive personal license granted to view and download your own deliverables, no right, title, or interest in or to the platform, its underlying algorithms, or its technology is transferred to you or any third party.

4. Prohibition on Scraping, Model Training & Reverse Engineering

To protect the integrity of our platform and user community, you and any third parties (including automated systems, bots, crawlers, and AI agents) are strictly prohibited from:

• AI Training & Fine-Tuning: Using any content, sample deliverables, copywriting, or UI flows from Theirloom to train, fine-tune, benchmark, or validate external artificial intelligence or machine learning models.
• Automated Scraping & Data Mining: Deploying automated scrapers, spiders, or harvesters to extract platform assets, prompts, or proprietary data (excluding standard search engine indexing adhering to our robots.txt).
• Reverse Engineering & Cloning: Decompiling, reverse engineering, disassembling, or creating derivative software or services based on Theirloom's multi-agent workflows, prompt design, or print geometry.
• Mirroring & Framing: Framing, mirroring, or repackaging the platform or any part of the service for commercial resale or redistribution without prior written consent.

5. Respectful Use & Community Standards

Theirloom is dedicated to dignity, memory, and truth. Accounts found producing hateful content, non-consensual personal material, or harmful material will be promptly reviewed and closed.
